Area of production: West Sicily, hilly area situated in the north
of the province of Trapani
Grapes: Nerello Masacalese 100%.
Density: 4.000/4.500 plants per ha.
Production technique: destalked, vinification in red with traditional soft
pressure of the skins and maceration at a controlled temperature of the skins
and maceration at a controlled temperature of between 25 - 28° C. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, cold bottling and refining in the bottles for 4
months.
Type of wine: Red. Sicilia D.O.C.
Colour: intense red colour.
Perfume: caracteristic of the grape, delicate and persistant notes of red berry fruits
Taste: is full and velvet
Bottle: 75 cl - 12,5% Vol. Best served at: 14°C.
Pairings: We propose to taste it with medium seasoned cheese,
grilled steak.
